Honda to host charity open day
|
The Honda Formula One team will open their doors to the public on Sunday, July 15 for their very first Team Charity Open Day. Guests will be able to tour the UK factory, watch pit-stop demonstrations, listen to live music and enjoy other entertainment, including special activities for children.
Race driver and British hero Jenson Button will be in attendance along with test and reserve driver Christian Klien and there will be special guest appearances throughout the day. All proceeds will be donated to the teams two adopted local charities, Helen & Douglas House and Stepping Stones Pre-School.
Helen & Douglas House, based in Oxford, provides respite and end of life care for children and young adults with life-shortening conditions, as well as support and friendship for their families. Stepping Stones Pre-School, meanwhile, supplies educational pre-school and playgroup childcare in Brackley.
Honda will announce details regarding tickets for the open day soon.
