Weekend weather update - hot and sunny 05 Apr 2007
Welcome to the second round of the 2007 FIA Formula One World Championship, the Malaysian Grand Prix at Sepang.
It is always very hot and humid here, and the forecast for the race weekend is very straightforward: sunny with ambient temperature highs of 34 degrees Celsius each day. There is a 20 percent chance of rain each day, but no matter how torrential that is it usually dries up very quickly.
The 5.543 kilometre (3.444 mile) circuit is unchanged since Renaults Giancarlo Fisichella won from pole position here in 2006.The race will run over 56 laps or 310.408 kilometres (192.887 miles) and will start at 1500 hours local time, which is 0700 GMT.
