Allianz becomes Formula One Global Partner 11 May 2007
Williams sponsor Allianz announced their new status as a Formula One Global Partner on Friday. The partnership provides Allianz with exclusivity in the sector of financial service providers in insurance, asset management and banking.
We welcome Allianz as a new Global Partner of Formula One, said Formula One Management (FOM) CEO Bernie Ecclestone. With their continued sponsorship of the Williams team and multiple trackside presence, Allianz is another prime example of a global company using Formula One to build its brand throughout the world.
Road safety will once again be the focus within the Formula One related communication strategy. Supported by the Allianz Center for Technology (AZT), Allianz will continue to provide journalists and media worldwide with safety relevant features using the excitement of Formula One racing to draw attention to general road safety.
