Saturday weather update - the rain arrives 26 May 2007
Welcome to qualifying day at the Monaco Grand Prix, round five of the 2007 FIA Formula One World Championship.
It has already been raining lightly in Monte Carlo this morning and it is definitely breezier than Thursday and Friday. The forecast is for an ambient temperature high of 23 degrees Celsius, with a 40 percent chance of rain throughout the day. This could make qualifying an excrutiating time for the drivers and teams, but gripping for the fans. There remains an 80 percent chance of rain on raceday.
The race will run over 78 laps or 260.520 kilometres (161.887 miles) and will start at 1400 hours local time, 1200 hours GMT.
