Sutil begins testing B-spec Spyker 29 Aug 2007
Spyker began the first full test of their updated B-spec car at Monza on Wednesday. Adrian Sutil took the wheel of the revised F8-VII as the team commenced a two-day session in preparation for the forthcoming Italian Grand Prix.
The B-spec machine had been due to appear at last weekends Turkish round, but Spyker were forced to postpone its race debut after the car failed the mandatory FIA rear-impact test.
The Silverstone-based team are confident, however, that modifications will see the F8-VII pass the test this week in plenty of time for the Italian race on September 9.
