Lawyers advise McLaren to remain silent 07 Sep 2007
McLaren will be making no further comment ahead of next weeks World Motor Sport Council hearing concerning their possession of confidential Ferrari data. It follows allegations that the teams drivers may have information relating to the case.
The media centre at Monza was thrown into a frenzy on Friday after the FIA revealed it has written to Fernando Alonso, Pedro de la Rosa and Lewis Hamilton asking them to produce any relevant documents they might have.
In response, McLaren said they would like to address the issues, but that lawyers have advised them to make no further comment ahead of next weeks hearing, where the team plan to make a strong set of submissions.
