Williams’ 2008 car is to make its track debut next week, the team have confirmed. The FW30 will get its first outing at Spain’s Valencia circuit on Tuesday, 22 January.

Williams have announced no plans for an official launch. Instead, the press will get their first glimpse of the Toyota-powered challenger as it participates in regular testing alongside rivals.

For its debut, the FW30 will feature the second of a series of six special winter liveries designed to commemorate Williams’ 30th year in Formula One racing. Its race colours will be revealed in time for the Australian Grand Prix on March 16.

Renault's 2008 machine, the R28, is also expected to make its first track appearance at Valencia next Tuesday.
