Sunday weather update - rain still possible for Canada 08 Jun 2008
Welcome to race day for the Canadian Grand Prix at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve on Montreals Ile Notre Dame.
Yet again the forecast says there will be thunderstorms in the region all day, with an ambient temperature high of 30 degrees Celsius, but it is currently overcast but dry and as yesterday it remains to be seen whether the bad weather actually arrives.
The race, which will run over 70 laps or 305.270 kilometres (189.694 miles), will start at 1300 hours local time, four hours behind GMT.
