After jaunts to Johannesburg and Rotterdam earlier in the summer, the Renault roadshow team are set to dust off their suitcases once again and head to Eastern Europe. The French team plan to be in action on the streets of the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, later this month.

Renault test drivers Romain Grosjean and Sakon Yamamoto will both be behind the wheel of an R27 during the event, which will take place on a 1.8-kilometre track, specially designed for the occasion.

"I am very happy to be going to Kiev for this demonstration," said Grosjean. "I have never been to Ukraine and I think the atmosphere promises to be very special. I will do my best to make it an unforgettable day for the public who don't have a Grand Prix in their country."

Yamamoto added: "As a racing driver, driving through the town in a Formula One car is something that feels extraordinary and I hope that the Ukrainian public will enjoy this event and seeing the R27. I will do my best to entertain them and I have no doubt that it will be a truly exceptional day."

The Renault roadshow in Kiev will take place on September 21.
