Welcome to race day for the Italian Grand Prix at Monza, round 14 of the 2008 FIA Formula One World Championship.

There seems little question that there will be rain at some stage today, and the region is already wet after overnight showers. As the ambient temperature high is forecast to be 25 degrees Celsius, the questions are when it rains and how heavily.

The race will run over 53 laps of the 5.793 kilometre (3.6 mile) circuit, or 306.720 kilometres (190.596 miles). It starts at 1400 hours local time, which is two hours ahead of GMT.
