Ferrari test on two fronts in Italy 19 Sep 2008
Thursday was a busy day for Ferrari, working at two Italian test tracks - at Mugello with world champion Kimi Raikkonen and at Fiorano with team mate Felipe Massa.
On the Tuscan circuit, it was the second of Ferrari’s three days of testing planned for this week. Raikkonen continued with the job of developing new aerodynamic solutions and work on finding the best set-up for the F2008, which tester Luca Badoer had begun on Wednesday. The Finn covered a total of 79 laps, setting a best time of 1m 21.079s.
Massa, meanwhile, was at Fiorano in the afternoon, shaking down the cars the team will use in next weekend’s Singapore Grand Prix. The Brazilian will take over from Raikkonen at Mugello on Friday.
