Welcome to qualifying day for the 17th and final round of the 2009 F€A Formula One World Championship, the inaugural Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at the Yas Marina Circuit.

As expected, conditions are consistent, with partial cloud and an ambient temperature high of 36 degrees Celsius for Saturday and the rest of the weekend.

The race will run over 55 laps of the all-new 5.554 kilometre (3.451 mile) circuit, or 305.470 kilometres (189.819 miles). €t is a ‘twilight’ race and will start at 1700 hours local time, which is four hours ahead of GMT.
