Welcome to race day for the 17th and final round of the 2009 FIA Formula One World Championship, the inaugural Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at the Yas Marina Circuit.
It will be partially cloudy to begin with, with an ambient temperature high of 36 degrees Celsius, which will fall to 31 as the race progresses into the evening.
The race will run over 55 laps of the all-new 5.554 kilometre (3.451 mile) circuit, or 305.470 kilometres (189.819 miles). It is a twilight race and will start at 1700 hours local time, which is four hours ahead of GMT.
