Ferrari confirm line-up for young driver test 19 Nov 2009
Ferrari are to field four F1 hopefuls in next months young drivers test at the Spanish circuit of Jerez. The special multi-team session is to be held on December 1-3.
Frenchman Jules Bianchi, who recently won the Formula 3 Euroseries title, will take the wheel of Ferraris 2009 machine, the F60, for the first two days.
On the final day, as in 2008, Ferrari will trial the top three drivers from this seasons Italian Formula Three series - Italians Daniel Zampieri and Marco Zipoli, and the Mexican Pablo Sanchez Lopez.
Among the other names expected at Jerez are 2009 Formula Renault 3.5 winner Bertrand Baguette, testing for Renault; F2 racers Mirko Bortolotti and Andy Soucek, with Toro Rosso and Williams respectively; American Alexander Rossi and Mexican Esteban Gutierrez with BMW Sauber; and British Formula Three champion Daniel Ricciardo with Red Bull.
