Following a season that saw them clinch five pole positions, six victories and second place in the constructors’ championship, Red Bull can be forgiven for spending a little time celebrating before they knuckle down to their 2010 preparations. And last weekend the team did just that, throwing an extravagant party for the entire team at a country house near their Milton Keynes factory.

The evening, held at Aynhoe Park, was hosted by British Formula One television presenter Jake Humphrey, and the team’s drivers, Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber, and senior management figures including team principal Christian Horner and chief technical officer Adrian Newey were all in attendance.

The celebrations got underway with a bang thanks to a display by 12-time world trials champion Dougie Lampkin, who came into the marquee on his motorbike and performed a few wheelies and a burnout. Vettel then made his way down the red carpet in an RB5.

There was then an awards ceremony, with prizes handed out to everyone from the ‘Worst IT Offender’ to the team’s ‘Unsung Hero’, followed by live music sets from British band Razorlight and DJ Erok.
