It's been a memorable year for Formula One racing, not least for Jenson Button’s maiden drivers’ crown and Brawn GP’s spectacular debut campaign. As 2009 draws to a close, we would like to thank you for your support over the past season and wish our users the very best for the holiday period.

Needless to say the first few weeks of 2010 already look set to be busy ones, as the teams - including four new ones - gear up to unveil and trial their new machines in February’s first test sessions, in preparation for the opening round of the season, the Bahrain Grand Prix, on March 14.

Will the likes of Lotus, Campos, Virgin and the new US team be able to mix it with the established big guns? Could new rules, including a ban on refuelling, narrower front tyres and a revised points system help swing things in their favour?

Will Button be able to beat Lewis Hamilton on home turf at McLaren? Will Fernando Alonso have what it takes to put Ferrari back on top, or could we see Michael Schumacher in a Mercedes scupper his hopes?

One question we do know the answer to? Yes, it’s going to be an exciting season!

We will, as always, be keeping you informed of all the developments from the world of Formula One racing in the build-up to the new season, so stay in touch with Formula1.com in the countdown to Bahrain for the very latest updates.

In the meantime, have a great holiday season and a very happy New Year!
