Ferrari have announced they will hold a special test session to evaluate young Italian driving talent. The day, which has been devised along with Italian motorsport's governing body, the ACI-CSAI, will see the top three finishers in the 2009 Italian Formula Three Championship get the chance to drive the F60.

"We are proud to continue our collaboration with the ACI-CSAI," said team principal, Stefano Domenicali. "The development of motor sport for youngsters is a theme that is particularly close to our hearts and we believe this day of testing is a further boost to generating interest in a championship that continues to grow."

Ferrari hosted a similar day last year at which Italian Formula Three drivers Mirko Bortolotti, Edoardo Piscopo and Salvatore Cicatelli all sampled the F2008 at the Fiorano circuit. Bortolotti ended the day fastest, clocking a quickest time of 59.111s, ahead of Piscopo and Cicatelli.
