Welcome to race day for the fourth round of the 2009 FIA Formula One World Championship, the Bahrain Grand Prix at Sakhir.

An ambient temperature high of 31 degrees Celsius is forecast for Sunday, with partial cloud. There are still reports of the possibility of a sandstorm in the region.

The 5.412 kilometre (3.363 mile) circuit is unchanged since Felipe Massa won for Ferrari last year. The race will run over 57 laps or 308.238 kilometres (191.539 miles) and will start at 1500 hours local time, which is 1200 GMT.
