Toro Rosso to debut STR5 next week 25 Jan 2010
Next Monday will be a busy day at Valencia when the first official Formula One test of the year gets underway. Mercedes and Williams have already confirmed they will be showing their new cars for the first time and now Toro Rosso have announced they too will be debuting their 2010 machine at the Spanish circuit.
The STR5 will, like its predecessor, be Ferrari powered and will be raced by the Italian teams unchanged driver line-up of Swiss star Sebastien Buemi and Spanish youngster Jaime Alguersuari. Buemi is expected to complete the cars first installation lap on the morning of February 1.
Red Bull-owned Toro Rosso finished tenth in the 2009 constructors championship.
