After its successful launch midway through last season, iPhone and iPod touch users can now get their hands on a full season subscription to the Soft Pauer’s official Formula One™ 2010 Timing and Track Positioning Application, and never miss a lap of this year’s championship.

The App offers an unprecedented level of information to consumers, which can be immediately understood with the unique dynamic/interactive track map which provides the users with a clear illustration of all the gaps between the drivers. With users also able to access the same live timing information and in the same format that is used by the teams at each Grand Prix venue to track the progress of a session or particular team or driver. Uniquely, all the data from the whole season will be retained on the user’s device to enable them to look back at and re-run the sessions whenever they want.

Soft Pauer’s official Formula One™ Timing and Track Positioning App was launched in June last year, midway through the Formula One™ season. Nevertheless, in a few short months it became the number-one paid sports App in 47 countries (including the UK, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Brazil and Japan) and was awarded Best of 2009 and Best Selling of 2009 by the UK iTunes Store.

The App is available in English, French and German at a cost of just £19.99 for the whole season. Spanish and Italian versions are shortly to follow. Support and service information is constantly updated at www.twitter.com/f1timingapp and on Facebook.

Fans of the App include Red Bull Racing’s race winning driver, Sebastian Vettel: “I like to analyse my races to see where I could have done things better and for that I use the timing and track positioning application for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It allows me to analyse each race using both the dynamic circuit map and the live timing, and that helps to explain why certain things happened.”

BBC Radio 5 Live’s commentator and ex-Formula One™ driver Anthony Davidson also loves the App: “Hand on heart, it’s a definite improvement. Any fan who wants more detail about a race will love this because you end up having a much better understanding of what’s going on.”
