Pat Fry to join Ferrari’s technical line-up 22 Jun 2010
Ferrari announced on Tuesday that Pat Fry will join their technical department. Fry, who left McLaren recently, will take up the new role of assistant technical director at the Italian team next month.
Fry had been at McLaren for 18 years and had previously worked at Benetton. Aside from his addition to the line-up, the current structure of Ferrari’s technical department will remain unchanged. He will report directly to technical director Aldo Costa.
The 46 year-old will start work at Maranello next week on July 1.
