Drivers sign up for StarCards charity auction 07 Jul 2010
A unique collection of playing cards signed by all of the grids 24 Formula One drivers is currently being auctioned online to raise funds for London's Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). The signatures were gathered by F1 photographer Mark Sutton of Sutton Motorsport Images, who have supported the StarCards F1 project since 2004.
As well as a unique multi-card display with a signed card from every driver, the auction features individually framed and mounted driver collections, which include a signed playing card and a Sutton photograph, and a signed GOSH t-shirt.
We are delighted with the support of Sutton Images and to be connected with Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity, we hope that as a result of our involvement it will be possible for children of all nations to get the help they need, said Paul Brett of StarCards. Every penny we raise goes directly to the charity to spend on the most vital medical equipment, research facilities or toward the £50 million required every year to help keep the magic alive.
