Multi-award winning international stars Jessie J and Macy Gray are to headline F1 Rocks™ in Sao Paulo on Thursday, November 24, immediately prior to the Formula 1 Grande Premio Petrobras do Brasil 2011 weekend.

In addition, F1 Rocks™ the Afterparty will return to stage an exclusive event following the race on Sunday, November 27, featuring internationally renowned artist/producer duo Chase & Status DJ set and Rage, Welsh DJ and record producer Sasha, plus a special surprise guest.

“The F1 Rocks™ in Sao Paulo show is going to be epic,” said Jessie J, who started her music career writing hit songs for artists such as Chris Brown and Miley Cyrus, before going on to huge success in her own right.

“I’ve always wanted to visit Brazil and what an amazing event to start with - looking forward to being part of it,” she added, ahead of the Via Funchal show that will mark the UK artist’s first live appearance in the South American country.

Macy Gray has sold over 15 million albums and is the recipient of two Grammy and two MTV Awards. Her single ‘I Try’, taken from her debut album ‘On How Life Is’, remains one of the most successful singles of all time.

“I’m over the moon to be playing F1 Rocks™ in Sao Paulo,” she commented. “I am a huge F1 fan and am excited about being right in the middle of the Formula one circus; the garages, walking the grid and meeting the legendary Bernie (Ecclestone).”

John Simidian, Executive Producer, F1 Rocks™, added: “Jessie J is exploding worldwide, so we are proud to have her and Macy close our F1 Rocks™ season. Brazil definitely rocks!”

Chase & Status DJ set and Rage, have been hailed as 'the most exciting producers in the UK today' by Pharrell Williams of N*E*R*D fame, and the pair have remixed tracks by some of the world's hottest artists, including Jay Z's 'Death Of Auto-Tune', The Prodigy's 'Invaders Must Die' and White Lies’ 'Death'.

DJ and record producer Sasha, aka Alexander Paul Coe, played acid house and dance music in the late ‘80’s and became a central figure in the development and popularisation of electronic dance music. Sasha has produced multiple UK chart singles and re-mixed tracks for artists such as Madonna and Chemical Brothers.
