Gutierrez lined up for Sauber aero test 01 Sep 2011
Reserve driver Esteban Gutierrez will be back behind the wheel of a Sauber this weekend to carry out a straight-line aero test for the team. Gutierrez will be in action in the C30 at the Italian track of Vairano on Saturday.
Im very grateful to be able to do this kind of test for the team, said the 20 year-old Mexican. Although it is not a regular test with many laps and normal set-up work it will give me some new experience of further work with the team and I will be able to learn a bit more for my future.
Gutierrez, who is currently competing in the GP2 Series and won the 2010 GP3 championship, last tested for Sauber at last Novembers young driver test in Abu Dhabi. It was announced in July that he has been re-signed to Sauber for a third year in a reserve role for the 2012 season.
