Mr Hudson to DJ at Melbourne's F1 Rocks The Afterparty 20 Feb 2012
F1 Rocks have announced that renowned international DJ Mr Hudson will perform at F1 Rocks The Afterparty during the weekend of the 2012 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix, which takes place in Melbourne from March 16-18.
The star-studded party, which will also feature Australian DJ Havana Brown, will get underway on Sunday evening following the Australian race at EVE nightclub, which is located in the citys prestigious Southbank suburb.
Were excited to bring F1 Rocks the Afterparty to Melbourne for the first time and hope that guests will enjoy our unique brand of entertainment and VIP treatment, said F1 Rocks CEO Robert Montague. F1 Rocks the Afterparty has time and again entertained partygoers, F1 teams and drivers in the past and we know that our event in Melbourne will be one to remember.
Mr Hudson is best known for collaborations with Kanye West, Pixie Lott, Wretch 32 and Eliza Doolittle, and supported Jay-Z on his arena shows. He has sold over 500,000 singles and 100,000 albums, and has over 50 million YouTube hits to his credit.
Havana Brown is Australias number-one female DJ and one of the country's most successful DJ exports of the decade. She has supported Britney Spears and Lady Gaga and was part of the inaugural F1 Rocks event in Singapore in 2009, when she shared the stage with Beyonce and the Black Eyed Peas.
The Afterparty festivities will complement the two main F1 Rocks in Melbourne concerts, which will be headlined by Lenny Kravitz on Saturday and Sunday. For more information, visit www.f1rocks.com.
