Gearbox penalty for Di Resta at Force India 08 Sep 2012
Paul di Resta is set to drop five places on the grid for Sundays race in Italy after Force India opted to change the gearbox on his car at Monza. Gearboxes are required to last five consecutive Grands Prix.
Di Resta, currently 15th in the drivers championship on 28 points, was an encouraging seventh fastest in second practice on Friday.
The other man carrying grid penalties going into qualifying is Williams Pastor Maldonado, who will drop a total of ten places thanks to his jump start and causing a collision at the last round in Belgium.
