Pic given time penalty for Singapore race 22 Sep 2012
Marussia driver Charles Pic will have 20 seconds added to his race time after Sundays Grand Prix for passing under red flags during Practice Three. Pic and his engineer must additionally perform a days community service on behalf of the FIA Action for Road Safety campaign.
The Frenchman was deemed to have overtaken a car after he had passed by four sets of red flags towards the end of Saturdays final practice session. The session had been halted when Caterhams Vitaly Petrov collided with a wall and broke his rear suspension.
In other penalty news, HRTs Pedro de la Rosa will drop five places on the Singapore grid after a gearbox change on his F112.
