Mercedes and Toro Rosso to launch new cars at Jerez test 17 Jan 2013
Mercedes and Toro Rosso have have both announced plans to launch their 2013 cars on February 4 at Jerez, the day before pre-season testing begins at the Spanish circuit.
Mercedes will lift the covers off their new machine, the F1 W04, at 13.30 on Jerezs main straight, with Toro Rosso unveiling their 2013 challenger, the STR8, in the pit lane at 17.30.
Last year, Mercedes took their first win as a fully-fledged manufacturer since 1955 with Nico Rosbergs victory in China. The German will have a new team mate for the first time in four years in 2013, as Lewis Hamilton joins from McLaren to replace Michael Schumacher.
Toro Rosso, who finished ninth in the constructors standings last year, will field an unchanged driver line-up of Daniel Ricciardo and Jean-Eric Vergne.
