The Lesser Known… Lewis Hamilton
There has been much talk of McLaren protecting their new protege from the media, so we felt privileged to be able to grab a quick chat with Lewis Hamilton and discover just a little of what makes him tick…
Q: What's in your garage at home?
LH: At the moment I have a Mercedes-Benz C Class.
Q: Tell us something we don't know about you?
LH: I can’t do that, I’ve got to keep some secrets!
Q: Your favourite song for karaoke?
LH: If you’d heard me sing, you wouldn’t be asking that question. Save your ears people!
Q: Your most embarrassing moment?
LH: Probably my worst moment behind the wheel to date was in GP2 last year. I went out for qualifying at the Hungaroring and spun on my out-lap, stalled the car and qualified last. I did manage during the race though to get back up to second position by the chequered flag.
Q: When you're at home, what do you listen to when driving?
LH: R & B, reggae, hip-hop, and funky house.
Q: If you were a superhero, what would your special powers be?
LH: That’s easy - to be able to fly!
Q: The person you most admire?
LH: My brother Nicholas.
Q: What would you be if you weren’t a racing driver?
LH: I would be in the music industry, either performing or a producer.
