For Monza, the large endplates normally seen on the side fins in front of the rear wheels have been reduced in size. This not only cuts drag, but improves cooling thanks to the wider hot-air venting - crucial here due to the high percentage of full throttle in a single lap, at higher than 70 percent of the track length.
