BAR 007 - front-wing development
After introducing a double profile at Spa, further development for Brazil. These unique endplates have a sculpted profile in the middle of the shield (right red arrow), channelling airflow to the inner edge of the front wheels to reduce turbulence and to improve brake cooling. The top front edge of the endplate is also different (left red arrow) - no longer flat, but sloping downwards. This allows the additional profiles of the wing to work more efficiently, without adding too much drag.
