McLaren MP4-24 - experimental front wing endplate 27 September 2009
McLaren tried this totally new endplate for the third time in Singapore, without ultimately using it in either qualifying or the race. With its intricate three-part design, it was tried for the first time in Valencia, then at Spa and finally here at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. McLaren also changed both drivers' chassis after Friday's session and used a new symmetrical rear diffuser, replacing the previous asymmetrical design introduced at the Nurburgring.
