Mercedes F1 W03 - revised 'double DRS' system 02 September 2012
In Belgium on Friday morning, Mercedes experimented with a revised version of their double DRS system, very similar in principle to the one currently being trialled (but not raced) by Lotus. Only Rosberg had it on his car for the test and it was not yet fitted with all the pieces - the red arrow shows where the vertical pipe is not yet connected to the top section of the wing. Expect to see the system's final layout at Monza.
