McLaren MP4-27 - Monza front wing 09 September 2012

Unlike at the previous round at Spa, where even Button with his low-downforce set-up used a normal front wing, in Italy McLaren have introduced a specific front-wing design based on the one used at Silverstone wing. Unlike the Spa wing, it has a single second flap (divided into two sections, as introduced at Hocknheim), but without the upper flaps attached to the endplate and with a much smaller chord on the second flap. The overall effect is less downforce compared to the Spa.
