Low-key start to rookie F1 season, not helped by Virgin's initial lack of pace and reliability. Nevertheless, records the new team's first race finish, with a 14th in Malaysia, and gradually draws closer to pace of more experienced team mate Glock, ultimately beating him in the standings.
