Another evolution of Force India's front wing for Spa, with a different, longer fin on the outside of the endplate and two smaller flaps to balance the low-downforce rear wing, making a good combination on the season's first medium downforce circuit.
Force India have followed BMW Sauber's lead with this small, additional double wing (red arrow) in the centre of the rear wing, in the unrestricted, 15-cm wide central area. Introduced in Monaco and retained for Istanbul, it increases rear downforce.
Force India was the second team, after Renault, to introduce a double diffuser in Bahrain, with a solution featuring a very wide central channel, using the maximum width allowed (50cm) to increase the level of downforce. Together with this there was also a revised front wing on the VJM02.
