Mercedes F1 W03 - revised rear wing 24 November 2012
In Brazil Mercedes have been busy experimenting for 2013, sampling a standard, non Coanda-style exhaust. They also decided to use this revised rear wing in qualifying and the race at Interlagos. It has a revised DRS control mechanism, as next season the DRS-operated 'F-duct' front wing the team currently use will be outlawed. Overall the innovative system has not delivered the benefits that were hoped for and has limited the evolution of the front wing.
