Ferrari F2012 - new exhaust 09 June 2012
In Canada Ferrari have joined the group of teams using the McLaren-style exhaust-exit bodywork solution, following (in order) Red Bull, Sauber, Force India and Toro Rosso (plus Caterham, though only at the Mugello test). In some ways it means the Maranello team have come back to their original 2012 configuration of the exhaust low blowing on the outside of the bodywork. It is just the area inside the rear tyres that has adopted the McLaren bodywork shape. On Friday in Montreal Massa and Alonso made various back-to-back comparisons, with both then using the new solution for qualifying and race.
