McLaren MP4-20 - rear section 03 July 2005
Not completely new, but it's fascinating to see how the rear end of the McLaren is revised between races. For Magny-Cours, the vertical fin placed inside the hollow section in front of the rear wheels now sports a more curved, sinuous shape. This improves the efficiency of this area by increasing the speed of the air passing through it, therefore improving the extraction of air from the diffuser.
