M-Lane is the festival hub of the Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix 2020.

    Melbourne’s best food, art and entertainment have been brought together to bring you an electrifying off-track atmosphere by Albert Park’s lakeside.

    During the four-day festival, you’ll find everything from crafty cocktails, delicious delicacies and some of the hottest live music.


    Broadsheet Diner, new in 2020, contains a host of options including sensational burgers and hot dogs from Easey’s, Japanese-inspired salads from Fishbowl and ice cream from Kenny Lover.

    There’s a Pie Thief pop-up inside Broadsheet Diner, too, dishing up classics like chunky steak pies and new creations like mac-and-cheese-filled pies.


    Celebrate 25 years of Formula 1® in Melbourne at The Sound Garage at M-Lane, an immersive experience that takes you back in time by presenting the best of music, art and motorsport.

    Sound Garage visitors will take a trip down memory lane, watching and listening to the sounds of F1® over the years, while they can also get up close to a real Formula 1® car with an outstanding 90’s-flavoured design.


    The AusGP has unveiled two new pontoons in 2020, situated in a prime location on the Albert Park Lake. Just off M-Lane with stunning city views, fans can grab a drink at the Lakeside Bar and chill out in the unbeatable atmosphere of the pontoon.

    Free for fans to access, the pontoons will be created using a world-first commercial and adaptive floating platform system that will set a new benchmark with its sophistication and elegance.


    Emperor Champagne, Australia’s home of champagne and the official Champagne Partner of the Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix, will be serving Laurent-Perrier champagne at their Emperor Champagne Bar in M-Lane.

    A host of other bars are located within M-Lane, including the @EM espresso martini bar, the Fever Tree Gin and Tonic Bar, while full-service bars are in operation at the Lakeside Bar and the Heineken® Bars.


    Shane Delia’s Biggie Smalls is a returning favourite with Grand Prix fans, serving kebabs, falafel, unmissable chips and classic milkshakes, while Sliders on Tyres are also back in 2020 serving street food and hand-crafted sliders.

    Headlining the new M-Lane additions is 400 Gradi, the pizza gurus serving up hot slices of Naples-style pizza, and Pinchy’s will be dishing up their popular lobster roll.

    A new chicken satay dumpling from Drumplings is one of many of the restaurant’s daring creations, while Gelato Messina have produced a special Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix flavour: the Ferrari Rocher choc top. Also based in M-Lane is Hiro Sushi and authentic Chinese outlet Sun Kitchen, and El Camino will serve the best in Tex-Mex food.


    Australia’s top celebrity makeup artist and hairstylist, Jade Kisnorbo, will be bringing all the glitz and glam to M-Lane at the Jade K Beauty Bar.

    With the help of Stila Cosmetics and Mermade Hair, complimentary touch-ups will be available, in addition to the latest cosmetic tips from the best in the business.


    Injecting glitter - and glam - into M-Lane is Glitter Gypsy.

    Glitter Gypsy’s team of amazing face painters and make-up artists will provide free biodegradable glitter, face jewels, and face and body paint to transform your M-Lane festival experience.
