The season may have only just ended, but for many months now the teams have been focused on next year, with significant changes coming to the regulations that aim to spice up racing. The key aim underlying the changes was to alter the aerodynamics of F1 cars in such a way that drivers are able to race much more closely, essentially by making the cars less inhibited by the invisible ‘force field’ of ‘dirty air’ coming off a car in front.
