2011

Switch from Cosworth to Renault power, with Red Bull gearbox and hydraulics, and reinforce position as best of 'new' teams, challenging midfield at some races. Give tester Chandhok one-off race outing in place of Trulli in Germany. Again 10th in final standings.

Lotus name returns to F1 for first time since '94 with all-new, UK-based squad backed by Malaysian consortium. Team quickly establish themselves as best of 2010 newcomers, taking all-important tenth slot in constructor standings.
