Weather report - Saturday - Barcelona 03 May 2003

Jacques Villeneuve (CDN) BAR Honda 005.
Formula One World Championship, Rd5, Spanish Grand Prix, Barcelona, Spain, 2 May 2003

Good morning from the Circuit de Catalunya near Barcelona, where the temperature is currently 63 degrees F and the weather remains perfect for Formula One racing.

Maximum temperature today will be 71 degrees and it will be mostly sunny, with zero chance of rain. Humidity is presently 71 percent, visibility three miles, and the wind a seven mile an hour northwester.

This pattern is scheduled to continue tomorrow, and though there is said to be a 10 percent of rain still, the fact that the weather yesterday was perfect despite listing a 30 percent chance suggests that conditions will remain optimal. The high temperature tomorrow will be 72 degrees, which means that Michael Schumacher's expectations that cars will be sliding all over the track seem highly likely to be realised.
