TECH WEEKLY: Inside Aston Martin’s extensive Suzuka upgrade – and the gains it is intended to bring

Of all the car upgrades appearing at Suzuka last week, by far the most extensive was that on the Aston Martin AMR24.
As with all of this generation of car, the target of performance improvement is in the underfloor. That’s where the biggest gains are to be made with cars which generate such a high proportion of their total downforce from the floor’s interaction with the track surface.
