Welcome back to the French Grand Prix at Magny-Cours, where the first of two three-quarter hour practice sessions has just begun this morning.

The ambient temperature is 16 degrees Celsius and is expected to work its way up to a high approaching the mid 20s, and the chances of rain are minimal after yesterday's downpours. Visibility is unlimited, humidity 82 percent and there is no wind.

If that isn't promising enough, tomorrow is scheduled to reach temperatures in the high 20s and the chances of rain are listed as zero, which means that the French Grand Prix should be run in perfect weather.
