Weekend weather - wet race forecast 21 Oct 2004
Last year's Interlagos winner Giancarlo Fisichella will be rubbing his hands together when he reads the weather forecast in Sao Paulo today, as Brazil for the first time prepares to stage the 18th and final round of the FIA Formula One World Championship.
Instead of holding the race in March the organisers now have it in their spring, but today, Friday and Saturday it will be cloudy, with a small chance of rain as the ambient temperature peaks between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius.
On Sunday, however, there is a strong chance of rain as thunderstorms are anticipated in the region as the humidity rises along with the temperature (which should touch 27). Its very much the forecast we had for the race last year!
