Saturday weather update - more showers 08 May 2004
Welcome back to the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona, the fifth race of the 2004 FIA Formula One World Championship.
Yesterday afternoon’s rain, which began to fall right at the very end of Formula One practice and at times during F3000 qualifying, caught most forecasters by surprise. It didn’t amount to much, however. Similar patterns are expected this afternoon, though, which might affect both qualifying and the F3000 race.
Once again a high of 17 degrees Celsius is anticipated, with partly cloudy skies. Rain showers remain a possibility on Sunday afternoon, around race time.
