Risk of wet race on Sunday apparently over

Yesterday Ralf Schumacher joked that at least it isn’t snowing here, but it was certainly the coldest it has been at any 2004 Grand Prix, with an ambient temperature of only 13 degrees Celsius.

That was well below the anticipated 20 degrees and the chill in the air had people rushing for jumpers and jackets. It was cloudy, too, and although this morning there is a nice sun it is not expected that the temperature high will be much above 15 degrees.

The forecast still says it will be 20 and 21 degrees respectively on Saturday and Sunday, but our local sources insist that it will not rain, after all, on either day.
