2005 has been a great year for Formula One racing and as it draws to a close we would like to thank you for your support over the past season and wish all our users the very best for the holiday period.

Needless to say the first month of 2006 already looks set to be a busy one as the teams gear up for the opening round of the new season in Bahrain. Already several of them have confirmed plans to launch their new cars in January.

Toyota kick off proceedings on Saturday, January 14. Their new TF106 has already made plenty of testing appearances, but the car will have its official unveiling that day at the Japanese company’s manufacturing facility in France.

BMW Sauber are due to reveal their new team identity, including their 2006 livery, at a two-day launch event in Valencia, Spain, commencing on Monday, January 16, while Williams roll out their new FW28 at their Grove headquarters on Friday, January 27. And the Renault R26 will make its public debut in Monaco on Tuesday, January 31.

Of course, there will also be plenty of testing activity following the mid-winter break, with the majority of teams expected to return to track action at Jerez in Spain in the week commencing Monday, January 10.

We will, as always, be keeping you informed of all the developments from the world of Formula One racing, so stay in touch with Formula1.com in the countdown to Bahrain on March 12 for the latest updates.

In the meantime, have a great holiday season and a very happy New Year!
