Ferrari continue two-track test programme 14 Apr 2005
Rubens Barrichello, Michael Schumacher and Luca Badoer were all in action for the world champions on Wednesday in the teams second day of testing this week at Fiorano and Mugello.
At Fiorano Barrichello had an F2005 at his disposal and carried out an intensive Bridgestone tyre development programme, while also working on finding the best set-up for the car. With Tuesdays showers having given way to dry and sunny conditions, the Brazilian covered a total of 180 laps (17 on the short version of the track), setting a best time of 57.904s.
At the Tuscan track of Mugello, Schumacher and Badoer again worked mainly on Bridgestone tyre evaluation. Driving an F2005, Schumacher covered 127 laps, 13 of them on the short version of the track. Badoer, who was at the wheel of an F2004 M, did 75 (eight short.) The best times on the day were 1m 21.534s for the world champion and 1m 23.447s for Ferraris official test driver.
Ferrari continue testing on Thursday, with Schumacher at Fiorano and Barrichello joining Badoer at Mugello.
